Sultan’s Armed Forces shooting team returned from the United Kingdom to their homeland. They returned after participating in the championship of the International Military Shooting last Friday.

The VIP characters were presented in Muscat International Airport. The Brigadier Airport Mohammed bin Said bin Khalfan Al Kharusi Chief of Protocol of military and public relations under the chairmanship of Staff Sultan's Armed Forces and the numbers of officers are welcomed the team for their coming back to their motherland.

In the framework, there was participation in the international military set up as teams’ level and individuals levels in its activities on the shooting ranges at Camp Brbright in Bisley in the United Kingdom .This event started from the twenty-eighth of June until the seventh of this month with the participation of a team SAF Shooting Team British Army team, the Canadian Army and Army Group South Africa.

Since that mid-night Muscat International Airport was witnessing a honorable event, which is the team won the Sultan's Armed Forces Shooting achievements. Sultan's Armed Forces team wins Cups includes of His Majesty’s Cup, the Duke’s Cup, the An International Cup and Canada Cup.

Unwanted Mails

Junk e-mail is often sent as "spam"broadcast from hundreds or thousands of unknowing address.

Because it is from an unknown sender so it is classified automatically as a junk by Hotmail.

Junk mails are sent randomly too many Hotmail users to market their goods but in other side, some people send viruses by mails. So as a security feature in Hotmail, it classify as a junk unless the user confirms it as safe and he/she can change the setting of this feature as they want depend on their needs.

Some people use the email to burgle on people as send to them a mail that they won a 100000000 dollars as an example and need their contacts information to contact them or ……etc.

So the user should know like these mails by knowing their language they use. For an example they send Arabic mails to Arabs but it will be incorrect Arabic due they are not Arab But some perfect burglars use the other languages perfectly so users should be careful all the times while dealing with this type of mails.

Junk mails always contain financial content or links to other sites relate to it. So sometimes they are confused with other bills or business envelopes but the differences are they are sent from known company with your name and they are safe.

As the user become familiar with such mails, so senders put some known companies as their sponsors as kind of trust so it is better to check from these companies before trust any contents.

As repeating sending same contents, it become easier and familiar such mails from the name or from sender. It is difficult to know these visually but it is needed concentration to the information like if it is unrealistic so need to continue the rest of the mail. 

 "In my junk, i found a mail from Immigration to Canada which I do not interest in. So from the name of this mail I know the contents of it which to me it considers as junk.  But when opening the mail as kind of curiosity, I found it full of color with some special offers which sometimes are just lies in order to attract people with an indirect link to their website.

As we are watching fast developments steps, so Bayan College cope with technology developments. 
 

The first campaign was started on June.22, 2011 from Bayan’s students. This campaign supervised by Dr. Firoz. 

He asked students of journalism for Electronics Media course to publish one hard news and one soft news on Blogger.com. This blogger will contain news of Muscat and Bayan College. 

There are about seven students are participating on Blogger website. Haitham Al Reziqi, Bader Al Kiyumi ,Jawaher Rashdi, Deeba Hasan, Abeer Al Zadjali , Rana Idris and Rasha Idris are doing this as part of Bayan’s activities and as part of their course.

 “The course deals with the practice of electronic journalism with projects relating to news writing and reporting with visual and aural components” Dr. Mohammed Firoz,Head of Media Department in Al-Bayan College says.

“I choose this activity course because it is a relevant to media studies. It is the first step to e-media era”. Rana Idris , student in Bayan College says.

Summer between Study and Fun

Summer is a period of time which most people are having fun with their family but others especially students in universities are spending their summer in studying.

Each of them has their own point of view. People who prefer spending their time in fun and rest, they said that their bodies and even their mind have the rights to rest after hard work through the year so they travel to somewhere and spend their vacation with their family members if they are aboard. Moreover, they are doing some activities with their family and friends, like shopping, going to festivals, visiting their relations. 

On the other side, other people think that spending time on complete studying or training is better than wasting all summer time on fun and entertainment.

 “I like to spend my summer time in beneficial way through completing my major” Rana Idris, a student in Al-Bayan College said. Wasting whole time on fun leads to feel bored like a daily routine with your people. Taking a study course during summer for a month and half then you will enjoy the rest of summer with your family.

Managing time one of basic foundations of happiness and succeed in your life. So, look at your life and balance between your fun and serious time.

Knowledge Sun Shine On Bayan College

Bayan College attends summer semester annually among Foundation and Academic years.

The summer semester in Bayan College started on June.11, 2011.Every year students in Al-Bayan College starts studying summer course to complete their majors. “About 173 students in Foundation and Academic are doing summer”, Shahama Al-Araimi, Accouter Management in Al Bayan College said.

The summer includes teaching foundation’s levels and Academic courses. The foundation levels are opened to students in foundation .Moreover, It is about 26 subjects are offered for Academic students”.

The students are completing their majors “I’m here to complete what I start my major as soon as possible” Thurayia, a student in Al Bayan College said.

After finishing their final exams, students immediately finish up their summer semester.  “The students will finished up their finals exams on Aug.3, 2011” a notice board of Admission and registration said.
